When In College/How Intern Queen Saved Me

   

 If you're in college, do yourself a favor and follow @Internqueen and @Careerqueen on Instagram. (I promise this is not an add), but these two pages seriously changed my college life. 

     Freshman and sophomore year I wasn't concerned about internships or resumes, but come senior year I was freaking out because I didn't feel prepared for anything outside of the college campus. Real job recruiters were asking for a resume that I didn't have. I was searching for internships and every time I found one and applied, I never got through to the second interview. I didn't understand what I was doing wrong, until I found Internqueen.

      I am an avid listener to the podcast, "Off the Vine." Lauren Berger, Interqueen and Careerqueen CEO was a guest on the podcast one week and gave so much advice for college students. 
     
      Everyday their story is flooded with internship opportunities for universities across the US and online (some are even paid!).

      I got the opportunity to work with Dunkin and be a brand ambassador when they launched their Beyond Meat breakfast sandwich. I got to walk around campus and pass out free giftcards to students and encourage them to try the new menu item. I got free Dunkin merch and a special opportunity to put on my resume. 

      There will be more college hacks, tricks and tips, but for now, trust me and follow these accounts. They will change your life!
